SUNDAY TEAMS

LIFE KIDS Team

Nursery: 0-2yrs, Pre-K: 3-5yrs old, Elementary: K-2nd Grade, Tweens: 3rd-5th grade, and Check-In: This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus.  They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through check-in, worship, videos, small groups, greeting, games and more. YOUTH GROUP Team

Middle School: 6th-8th Grade; High School: 9th-12th Grade: Join the team that is building the next generation, building lasting relationships, impactful camps, and fun trips! (All gifts) (Pastor-Jeff; Captain-Dominique Maul)

*We give our Next Gen programs first priority for serving! All opportunities to work with children and youth require completing a thorough application and background check process.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS Team

Connect Team/Greeters:  As part of the First Impressions Team, this team loves people and makes them feel at home here at LIFE CHURCH. This team connects guests to the Church community, providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at LIFE CHURCH. They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

Life Cafe: As part of the First Impressions Team, this team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee, snacks, and a warm welcome.

Ushers: This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting guests to a seat, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

Safety: This team serves to ensure that the grounds and the classrooms are safe during services. This team watches out for the congregation during services and is easily accessible in case of emergency.

FACILITIES Team

 Set Up/Tear-Down: This team sets up or cleans up before First Service or after Third Service to ensure that the atmosphere is ready for all our Sunday events. (Administration, Craftsmanship, Faith, Giving, Leadership, Service) (Director-Peter and Shelly Christianson; Captain: Open)

FREEDOM CENTER Team

SFA Responders: This team is trained in Spiritual First Aid that helps those who are hurting by providing a listening ear, prayer, as well as practical resources in our church and community. (All gifts) (Pastor-Jessica Ordaz; Captain: Open)

PRODUCTION Team

Propresenter Team: This team specializes in our Sunday services presentation by operating our Pro-presenter software (Administration, Craftsmanship, Faith, Giving, Leadership, Service) (Pastor: Bob Leahey; Captain: Open)

Photography/Videography Team: This team creatively uses their photography and videography skills to photograph Sunday services and special events, as well as provide photo and video editing. (Administration, Craftsmanship, Faith, Giving, Hospitality, Exhortation, Leadership, Evangelism, Service) (Pastor-Bob Leahey; Captain-Anna Smith)

Sound Team: This team helps people enter into worship and mix the vocals and instruments through running our sound board. (Administration, Craftsmanship, Faith, Giving, Leadership, Service) (Pastor: Bob Leahey; Captain: Open)

WORSHIP Team

Vocals/Instruments: This dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter the presence of the living God. (Discernment, Faith, Giving, Intercession, Leadership, Mercy, Worship, Pastor/Shepherd, Service, Wisdom) (Pastor-Charissa Young; Captain-Open)

*Some teams require further training or faithful serving on a different Sunday Team until character and culture can be determined. The pastor of that team will help you determine next steps. 

 OTHER TEAMS

CARE Team: 

This team is involved in ministries that focus on serving and meeting the needs of our church family (i.e., providing meals). (All gifts) 

EVENTS Team:

This team helps with church-wide events that are planned with a priority on valuing people and serving with excellence, whether it’s with setting up, planning decor, or helping with admin tasks. (Administration, Exhortation, Faith, Giving, Hospitality, Leadership, Service)  

GROUP LEADERS Team:

Whether a Life Group, Discipleship Group, or Freedom Group leader, you have the opportunity to lead others towards spiritual growth, deepen your own relationship with God and others, and live out the Great Commission. We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. (All gifts) 

OUTREACH Team: 

This team is involved in ministries that focus on serving and meeting the needs of our local communities as well as the world. (Discernment, Evangelism, Faith, Giving, Healing, Intercession, Knowledge, Leadership, Miracles, Missionary, Prophecy, Wisdom) 

PRAYER Team:

This team receives prayer requests via email throughout the week to pray for needs as they arise. (Discernment, Evangelism, Faith, Giving, Healing, Intercession, Knowledge, Leadership, Miracles, Missionary, Prophecy, Wisdom)
